Corrections Policy

How to report errors to Live in PT and how corrections, source updates, and article change logs are handled.

Live in PT aims to keep practical Portugal guides accurate, clear, and up to date. Because immigration, tax, healthcare, legal, housing, and employment information can change, reader reports are an important part of maintaining the site.

How to report an error

Email contact@liveinpt.com with the article URL, the section or sentence that may be wrong, and a short explanation of the issue.

What to include

Include the official source, public document, or reliable reference that supports the correction if you have one. If a government page has changed, send the new URL and the date you noticed the change.

How corrections are reviewed

We review correction requests against official sources or reliable primary references where possible. For topics that depend on individual circumstances, we may clarify the wording rather than give a single answer that could mislead readers.

Article updates and change logs

When a material correction is made, the article updated date or last verified date should be changed. If the article has a change log, the correction should be summarized there in plain language.

Limits

We cannot review private case files or provide personal legal, tax, immigration, healthcare, financial, employment, or housing advice. For decisions that affect your rights, status, money, health, or legal obligations, check official sources or speak with a qualified professional.

Government affiliation

Live in PT is independent and is not affiliated with AIMA, IRN, Finanças, Segurança Social, SNS, gov.pt, or any Portuguese government authority.
